General Cleaning Info
When our carpet care squad walks through that door, we aren't a secretive bunch. We aren't the type to hoard all the secrets of keeping a clean carpet to ourselves. We are happy to share to our paying customers all the secrets that we know of. But just before you are giving us a chance by checking out our website, we'll share a couple of the tricks to the trade with you right here.
Some of the obvious tips I hope you all are aware of are regular vacuuming, cleaning spills and crumbs before they settle into surface, dab recent spills not scrub them, and shoes off the carpet if you want to be a clean freak. Some people are sporadic vacuum users and don't actually hit the whole surface of the carpet, which will leave some areas that are not as tended to as other parts as others. Some people will clean their carpet with the vacuum by just hitting their immediate vicinity before sporadically moving on to the next. Some will treat a carpet like they would their lawn and try to clean in lines, which usually will not always work out with furniture, walls, and other objects that will obstruct the path. Rather, the proper way to do a professional carpet vacuum job is to split each room into sections, square rooms into 4 sections, and try to appropriate the necessary amount of sections into each room you enter. Now, in your section, hit the wall to the edges of the other carpet sections thoroughly before moving onto the next. It is important to go over each spot more than once, especially near the walls because sometimes a vacuum will only loosen the crumbs before it can actually suck them back up. |

You must target the areas where other people target with their butts and their feet. In the high traffic areas, or maybe not traffic but high relaxation areas even, there is usually going to be a greater amount of carpet crud than there will be in the areas where people do not frequent as often.
Do you commonly vacuum your carpets but not so commonly empty the stinky bag and into the trashcan outside? Well, to get rid of the stench, each time after emptying out the vacuum bag, pour some baking soda into there and the stench will be gone and now you can vacuum until that bag is full and not worry about that odd smell.
